![]() ![]() £100 was meant to be for my transport and meals for work and the remaining £60 was meant to be for anything I planned to do with friends up until my next paycheck, at the end of December. The issue isn’t that the purchase was made even after I cancelled it but it’s how much money I now have left. Instead of taking me to a page to say my order was cancelled, I was taken to a page that said my order was successful. I pressed it as soon as I realised that my payment was going through. Now here’s the most important thing: at the bottom of the page was a button saying “cancel order”. Instead of that, I was taken to a page that said my payment was being processed. As a result of this, I almost never buy less than 3 items from a website unless it has free or very cheap shipping.Īfter I signed up for Klarna and verified my card, I was not given an option to pay outright or in instalments. As well as budgeting, I like to know what items I’d be buying from each website since if I buy multiple items at once, I end up paying less for shipping. (I like to do all my shopping/ browsing months in advance so I can budget everything out). This is because I don’t actually need the jeans rn, I was just browsing online for clothes because I’ll be going to the US with my friends sometime next March. When this was going to happen, I planned to cancel my order and just wait until I was needing to buy the jeans. Now, I answered it knowing that once I verified my card, it would give me the option of whether to pay outright or give me the option for fortnightly payments. Well, I setup my Klarna account and was given a verification phone call from an automated bank service. This way, I don’t use whatever money I’ve got left in my account all at once and I can buy it at a later date. I decided to setup a Klarna account and pay every two weeks. So I was looking around on MNML after watching Richie Le’s recent video and I saw a pair of jeans I really liked.
